Salt and Pepper, cheese and onion, potato and potaato, this is the real world that makes sense to humans, where established food pairings thrive in harmony and tranquility allowing humans to sleep safely in their beds at night. Stop the press.... Pineapple and Guava, WHAT! Is this an artistic choice, or just plain culinary terrorism? SAY WHAT, screams my taste buds, and VAN GOGH's severed ear hears replies back... well, perhaps not his ear, because ears don't talk... PINEAPPLE AND GUAVA ROCKS.... well, perhaps not rocks, as they're chocolates and soft and gooey, and you couldn't skip them along the water like stones... BON BON paradise has a new name, and its name is pineapple guava.... well, actually it's bon bon paradise, but Pinapple Guava is definitely in the running for superb tropical suburb of the great chocolate Mecca known as, well, Chocolate Mecca. Just please don't scrub your lime and strawberry flavour now, Jack, which is one of my all time favourites! This chocolate artist maniac sells them as 'REJECTS', when in actuality, this is a flavour combination too dangerous to admit itself into polite society, and must therefore be sold off under the counter, and only to those who don't fear social ostracisation, ridicule and public stoning with real rocks, and not stones you skip along the Wonka chocolate river. 'Chocolate and Guava' is a chocolate reject worth swapping your place in society for, in favour and flavour of a straight jacket made of chilli Kumquat! Did my eyes just cross, or was that my T's?
I don’t like Blackforest gateaux as a cake but oh my goodness, Art Chocolate have designed the most incredible dessert bar in this jammy, unctuous, creamy bar. I am obsessed! I am hoping they will design a dessert bar which incorporates raspberries too. In the meantime the Blackforest bar is sensational and pretty too.
My husband and I have ordered these stunning chocolates previously and ordered them again whilst we had guests over. They are simply delicious and a wonderful treat.
I love the packaging on these and they are sublime to taste, such a treat, as always!!
For those who spend fortunes on tiny sticks of candied orange covered in black chocolate, STOP! This chilli Kumquat is everything you want, just in a bon bon, and with a slight (and pleasant) kick. I think this may be my favourite art chocolate flavour to date, Jack, you really need to add it to your full portfolio, once you decide on colouring. More MEGA reject bags please. Mega Kumqhat, minor chilli, MAJOR yumminess! A BONIFIED BON BON berserker!!
